I've tried to get into Dave, maybe I just need to try harder.. / 1
ok.. I'm picking on Dave because I'm not a big fan of his voice... his voice sounds like Eddie Vedder gone way way way wrong.... yes, I know Dave was born in South Africa but Paul McCartney was born in Liverpool and actually managed to sound American soulful...
so what is it with Dave... I mean, he can sing in tune... and his band is really really good... I guess in the end... I'm just not a big fan of the finished product.. it sounds light and commercial in the sense that it is definetely appealing to the white suburban demographic... I will give DMB credit for 'What Would You Say'... a good song... but other than that, I just can't say I'm into this stuff.. maybe I've got to try harder..???
